I'm currently living in Alaska and am moving to Louisville, KY in March. I will be there from April to October. I have a 16' Clackacraft drift boat and have been reading a lot about some of the excellent trout fishing and steelhead fishing in the Great Lakes area and some tailwaters in Kentucky. It seems though that river access is more difficult than out West, because landowners can restrict people from floating down the river. Is it worth towing my boat down from Alaska?
I'm also looking for a someone that wouldn't mind me sending them a couple of emails or maybe a telephone call to give me a little background on what to expect as far as the steelhead fishing and trout fishing in the area. Thanks for the help!
