| hey there everyone! i am planning on making a trip north to fish around the first of the year and i would like to know if i will still be able to fish for steelhead... i have never fished for steelhead and dont know anyone from the area but i am very eiger to get my feet wet... would it be worth is? if some one out there could point me in the right direction that would be awesome! |

I think you need to be a little bit more specific....such as how would you prefer to fish. Fly, Centerpin, Spinning? Also where are you from and where would you like to go? Steelheading can be very rewarding and much worth a long trip as long as you do three very important things
1. Be prepared for anything. Have the right tackle and gear.
2. Watch the weather forcest as close as the time you are about to leave.
3. Get yourself connected with a reputable, local baitshop that can give you helpful tips and current stream conditions.
