| So after my first pin trip and caught two fish I broke my favorite IN rod(steped on it in my truck bed). So since the rod has been discontinued I'm looking for any ideas. I like Loomis GL2's for the creeks since they're pretty durable I've had one for over 13 years the handle is cured from spawn juice and fish slime. I wanted something around 9-10.5'. Loomis has a 10' model GL2 with the large foregrip which I like. They say this rod is designed for the tribs around here. Does anyone have any experience with this rod or have other rec's. Thanks |

| A length of 10'- 11.5' will do fine, I personally would't go shorter than 10'. The Loomis GLX 11'3" model was designed with Indiana in mind... |

| The GLX was the one I was considering but I not spending that much for a rod with defective guides, plus the abuse the rod see's fishing the creeks. I feel better about beating up a $200 rod than a $500+ rod. |
