Slinkies instead fo splitshot?

Does anyone use a slinky instead of shot when indicator fishing? Slinky sure seem to snag a lot less then shot. any responses who be great. Thanks!

Doesn't make a difference. I never use enough weight to touch bottom much anyway

For whatever reason I never went with slinkies, I preffered hollow lead instead. But this past fall I tried 3/4 oz Lindy No-Snagg sinkers drifting spawn bags just between Suicide and the boat launch and never lost one due to a snag.

I like slinky's for their snag resistance . They are very cheep and easy to make by yourself also . Just seem to work better for me .
