I've used Spawnee and I've used Atlas. I really prefer the Spawnee netting. Anyone happen to have a reliable source for spawnee netting? (I've used Google to hell and back .. looking for the next level)
Re: Spanwee Netting?
That's the Atlas netting. allseasonssports.com carries Spawnee netting, but they're out of stock.

I didn't search real hard, but I've only seen it in white. Hope this is what you are looking for.
Re: Spanwee Netting?
That's a good fallback option in case I can't find the regular 4"x24' rolls. I use white for 1 and 2 egg sacks, so it'd still work well. Thanks for the assist!
Re: Spanwee Netting?
Dave, check Lake Michigan Angler again. Right under the spawnee device they have a Spawnee combination pack listed, FWIW.
http://www.lakemichiganangler.com/store ... achine.htm Besides, isn't the Spawnee device made by Atlas anyways??
Re: Spanwee Netting?
REG ..thanks for the tipoff. What's weird is *most* places have the 3" wide netting rolls. LMA has 4" wide rolls, but says they're 16' long. The rolls I've always used *weren't* labeled Atlas and were 24' long (I easily burn through a couple rolls in an evening and find the 3" wide rolls just too fiddly for my tastes). But, it sure looks like Spawnee and Atlas are one-in-the-same entity. The insert for the Spawnee machine directs one to http://www.atlasmikes.com ..which is, indeed, Atlas. So, it looks like as long as I can lay hands on the 4"x24' rolls, it's all the same stuff now. Mystery solved, with great appreciation to everyone who replied!
Re: Spanwee Netting?
Lee's is the best IMO....soft and pre-cut bigger than the rest.

Re: Spanwee Netting?
I'll give it a try next time I'm making sacks - thanks!
