Tots, warts, J-13 Rapalas & quick fish are all good. I haven't fished plugs for the last few years. But when I did, the Wal-Mart FLW crank baits in chartreuse and lime were the best I ever used. The hooks were [censored] though, it was a must to replace them.

Rattle tots by far, gold ladder back, blue and silver, trout and all with a red lip-an absolute necessity.
I have always enjoyed using husky jerk rapallas, ussually in a metallic gold color. I use a 3 inch for trout in summer and switch to a five or six inch in fall for salmon.
The only problem is that it is illegal to use most of these lures right out of the box in salmon streams, I have been stopped a few times and only given warnings because I believe that most CO's dont care to enforce such a silly rule. the biggest tremble hooks that can be legally used from 8-1 to 5-31 of the next year is 3/8th of an inch from hook to shaft for tremble, a size ten tremble hook. for single shaft it is 1/2 an inch or a size 4 i believe. This information is under gear restrictions Page 6 in the MI fishing guide. The last few years i can not afford a ticket, so i bought some single point hooks and changed them out on my little cleos and rapallas, wish i could do it on my spinners but i always end up breaking them. I still do get plenty of fish doing this.
i do well with tots and warts, and deep jr.s also. i have done really well with some fire tiger bombers too, i would have to look to see what models they are though.
i carry all the poll mentioned in many sizes and patterns. a few get used a lot, and a lot get used rarely. how about the old luhr jenson fireplugs, remember those?
Like the DWo5 Deep warts , now discobtinues, same short 3" body as the regular WW05's but the lip is longer and if bounces off of snags easier and the longer lip holds the hooks farther away from trouble, it also dives a a foot deeper, and weighs a tad more, Deep thunder stick JR.s, work great, Gander had them for $3.13 a copy last year for the older patterns, but only a few (18-24) per 144 assortment
