ill be mostly going after steel and some occasional browns....what is the key size?
thanks for all the replies so far!?!
I just bought some medium sized glow roe. Craig at Erie Outfitters recommended them.
I love to custom paint beads with nail polish. It's alot of work but can pay off when you find the right combination of bead and finish. One of the biggest tricks I have found so far is....... I'm going to regret this. a rock polisher and some fine grit sand. I will take peach colored pink etc etc and paint a couple hundred beads two to three coats of nail polish let them dry overnight pop them all off and give them 10-15 minutes rolling in the polisher it dulls them up a bit but once they are wet they shimmer alot more.. pucci orange pearl beads as the base in 6-8-10mm it can get to be addicting. I would spend weeks in the winter making all the beads I would need for summers guiding in alaska. NOT something you want to do under the midnight sun as fish are splashing around behind you.

8mm and 6mm 10mm for high water
