Finally decided that the Guideline DDC lines are the way to go for my first spey outfit. My only remaining question is whether or not to get the floating or intermediate belly?? I will primarily be fishing the Catt and Salmon River with occasional jaunts to some bigger waters. For those of you who use this line…which belly do you prefer and why?
Also…what kind of running line do you recommend to match up with the DDC?
Thanks!

I haven't fished either of those systems but for the waters I fish in IN and MI I use the intermediate body. Gets down and stays in the strike zone. Don't need to worry about the floating rear portion of head pulling up my tip in surface currents. Go with the guideline connect running line. Near zero stretch like the DDC. Super sensitive set up.
Re: Guideline DDC
intermediate it stays down when you fish this line it feels good you feel everything.
