orange meth yum yum!! guess this is a very controversial fly! on 2 other forums people screamed at me for naming this fly after the most destructive drug there is. problem is I didn't name the thing! haha!!!

thanks. now I got the guy pming me saying the name is not cute nor cool, I have poor judgement for posting it and that I insulted the forum by promoting drug use.. lmao! wow... dude needs to get a life. lol.
That is the name of the fly when tied with crystal braid. I am not sure (and cant tell by your pictures) but I think the name sticks when you zap a gap the braid. I know it's splitting hairs but the name is the name and part of it comes from the materials and method.
BTW - if you hit that thing with zap a gap it will drop like a stone and can take a beating.
I just used a lil head cement on the head and some on the bottom side thread. I don't have zap a gap yet. maybe I will get some next time out
extremely lethal fly pattern in almost every color. that is why the name has stuck. when nothing else works for me, a dark blue version will sometimes draw a strike. Also try putting a blood dot in the middle with micro yarn. pearl braid with orange dot. As for the name, to not ruffle some many feathers I have heard them called meth eggs, but if that is still a poor name, this fly pattern has been marketed as sparkle spawn as well.
