Sage 6126 z-axis question
I was wondering what are the lightest tippets that can be reasonably used with this stick and not always be breaking off fish? And what kind of spey line or flyline would be good choice for turning over indicators and splitshots on the leader with this rod? Thanks, Jason
I would use a Rio Sal/Steel taper in a 9wt on that rod for bobber fishing. Back in the day I used the older version of the rod for bobbers, seems I was using 7lb Umpqua Super Flouro. Stuff is a bit pricey, but super thin and super strong.
