"Viagra Caddis"

Had a few hookups with the "Viagra Caddis" the other day. First time using it in the fall. It KILLS in the spring and is VERY easy to tie. Ill post a pic of one soon, let me know if you need the recipe.

I have tied those before. Easy and fast to tie. Never tried in water yet.

Tryed to post a pic, but for some reson it won't let me. I will work on it tho. The pattern is simple:

Hook: Nymph or curved caddis (your choise) size 12-18
Thread: Black or tan 8/0 or 6/0
Body: Green Chenille (tie in close to the eye on the top of the hook and let it hang loose to the rear.
Body: Three or four wraps of peacock herl wraped in front of where you tie in the hackle.
Hackle: Any grizley type hackle will do, I like hungarian partridge tho.

Tie in your chenille, then the hackle then finish with the peacock.

Before you tie in the hackle, take a lighter and lightly run it up the top side of the chenille, this will make it arch and stand up (hence the name of the fly). All of your matterial will be in the front 1/4 inch of the hook,
