Beckman!! USA made in Wisconsin. They have a small & a large net. Everyone i know has one. The small is 17x17 hoop size with a 12in handle net depth is 22-23 in deep. Its plenty strong have gotten 17pound steelhead & 20lb + king in one also got a 55in Muskie half way in with no bottom rip out or breakage. Thats my pick.
Re: best net for Steelhead fishing
Check out Loki Nets if you are looking for a fine mesh bag to minimize skin and fin damage to a fish you may release.
Re: best net for Steelhead fishing
Thank you both for the links I will be buying one of them for sure.
Thanks Bill

Release fish in the water. Grab line and pull out offering. Fish swims away.
If you are keeping fish, then it doesn't matter what kind of net....just as long as the fish fits into it. Be Friendly & Safe On The Water
Re: best net for Steelhead fishing
Art,
Makes sense to keep them in the water and use a tailing glove! Thanks you for bringing me to my senses, I will be releasing them Bill
Re: best net for Steelhead fishing
Reg +1. Net only to keep...whatever fits fishing conditions, can be simple as large hoop or 15 foot long stick when combat fishing from high perch...but Reg's point when releasing.
