I just saw a pretty cool comercial today for Symbicort. It showed a father and son using centerpins (Okuma Aventas) and casting them with those red and white bobbers. They were also using regualr spinning rods and what appeared to be either fly line or a bright colored line like Siglon. The guy at the end even did a pretty nice side cast while casting the rod.
I thought that the commercial was very interesting in that it was a centerpin and not a flyrod. I was nice to see something different.
Anyone else see this commercial?

Re: Centerpins in the Media
The guy that put the video together must have had some experience with center pins to have included them. As time goes on, more folks will see the method, and be influenced by it when they buy their gear.
It takes a while to catch on,but catching fish, is a whole lot better than watching fish being caught! As much as any of us hate seeing our favourite stretch of river invaded, the sport always needs new blood, if videos like this promote it, then I'm ok with it.
Re: Centerpins in the Media
I saw the same commercial. I also wondered about the line. Funny.
