here is a good pattern all you egg lovers should toss---

hook: any heavy old egg hook you like to use in a #4--#10
thread: pink(or grey for segmentation) 3/0 or heavier floss
materials: pink lady, champagne, egg, or any glo bug yarn you like--(the Fly Shop in Redding Ca has a great selection of oddball colors, and the get their stuff 5 miles south from the Bug Shop in anderson, check the web>>>>)
tan antron , superfloss in bonefish tan, and med pearl flash

1: wrap your hook with thread halfway down the hook bend
2: tie in an inch of antron on the underside, pulling it towards the point of the hook
3: tie 4-6 strands of super floss, 1-inch long opposite if the antron---the floss should look like feelers, antron like legs
4: tie in pearl flash and wrap it to the eye and back,tie it off
5 tie in glo yarn and stack it like a micro spawn, but a little heavy at the bend and tapered as it gets to the eye----you can even trim the yarn a 1/4 inch long past the tie off to make a tail
6: the fast pattern is to just use floss and yarn------
7: sharpen the hook good and stick some pigs
