Good steelhead fly tying insrtuctions.

im looking for a source for recipes and techniques for steelhead flies. either an online source or a good book.

I usually surf the web looking for online fly shops and checking out their inventory. once I find a few flies that i'm interested in tying, i'll google or you tube for the recipe. for the most part i've been able to find an online video on "how-to" tie the fly. Somewhere in this forum someone asked a similar question awhile back and links to web sites were provided in the responses. Hope that helps. Good luck.

Dhise hit it on the head. It depends on what you want to tie. Many flies are variations of the same motions. Once you learn some those motions you can tie many patterns.

google fly tying videos. It will come up with many sites that offer visual examples that are very helpful if you are just starting out.
