The Swingers Tribute To SteelheadDiscussions About Fly Tying Methods, Techniques and Tips

chanel bagsOk, What I think you are saying is that you always end up wrapping it to many times and being forced to tie it off down by the base of the feather where the vein is pretty thick. In return because the vein is so thick you leave a lump there where the vein is under the thread right? If this is the case the answer is quite simple: Don't wrap it so many times!louis vuitton Wink You should always quit wrapping the feather once the vein begins to get thick if you want your flies to look neat. I think this is what you mean. You have me confused by saying down by the marabou as Marabou is a completely different type of feather than a schlappen or hackle feather. General hackle will have shorter fibers, schlappen will have slightly longer fibers, and marabou will have the longest fibers. The fluffy stuff at the base of the hackle or schlappen feather is really not good to use as it is always at the point of the feather where the vein is much thicker. cheap ghd straighteners
