My Email Address and TSS...
A valid Email Address is required to register and activate your account with TSS. Your profile on TSS is viewable, and thereby may/will be scaned by email bots that harvest emails from content on the web.
How can I protect my Email Address?
Click the "Your TSS Profile" link below the TSS masthead. Look for the option "Always show my e-mail address:" and click the No radio button. This will mask your email in all Posts and in your Profile on TSS.
I want my Email Address to show in my Profile!
Of course many folks will want their email address to be shown. For example, you are a Guide who regularly post info on TSS Forums and you want folks to email you directly. Just be aware that your email address may/will get harvested.
If you are using a free email service like Yahoo or Hotmail, you may be less concerned about protecting that address than your personal corporate email address.
It's your choice about displaying your email on TSS.
